Membership Requirements
To join the NSE Lekki Peninsula branch, you must follow the Nigerian Society of Engineers’ national membership process,
which includes the following requirements based on the membership grade:
Student Member
Academic: Must be a student of an NSE-accredited engineering course (minimum 3 years).
Process: Register online via the NSE national portal.
Graduate Member
Academic: Must be a student of an NSE-accredited engineer
Academic: Hold an engineering degree registrable by COREN.
Experience: No post-qualification experience needed.
Process: Apply online; no exam is required. ng course (minimum 3 years).
Process: Register online via the NSE national portal.
Corporate Member (Professional)
Academic: Requires an engineering degree registrable by COREN.
Experience:
• B1 Route: At least 4 years of post-graduation experience.
• B2 Route: HND with a PGD in engineering, plus at least 6 years of experience.
• Mature Route: Age 40+ with 10+ years of experience.
• Presidential Route: Age 45+ with 15+ years of experience.
Process: Submit technical reports and potentially undergo a written exam and oral interview.
Fellow (Highest Grade)
Membership: Must have been a Corporate Member for at least 10 years.
Service: Demonstrate valuable and selfless service to society.
Projects: Must have worked on outstanding projects.
Application Process
1) Register Online: Go to portal.nse.org.ng/Account/Register to start your application.
2) Select Branch: Choose “Ibeju-Lekki” during the registration process.
3) Upload Documents: Submit all required documents, including certificates and technical reports.
4) Pay Fees: Complete payment for national and local branch fees.
5) Engage: For assistance, attend the Ibeju-Lekki branch meetings and contact them directly.
